Baby Girl

Well, those of you that read Allison’s blog, and those that read my post titles, now know the gender of our new baby on the way. A visit to the doctor yesterday revealed that he’s fairly sure it is a girl. He admits to being wrong before and we’ll know for certain at a later visit.

So, another girl. I’m not sure how to react to that. I’m happy regardless because the baby appears to be healthy and coming along fine. But the thought of three girls in the house. At least I’ll probably look dashing with gray hair on my temples. Hopefully I’ll be cool looking when the hair just finally falls out.

But at the same time it’ll be fun.

If you’d like to see the pictures of the little girl then head over to Allison’s blog.

I took Tuesday off and we made a day of visiting the doctor. We went out and about around Birmingham so that Allison could look at baby stuff and I could buy comic books. A quick lunch at a Thai place, which was good since I had been dying for some decent chicken fried rice. Then we headed home. Anya stayed at home with Chance. And Allison’s parents. She must have had fun since she passed out around 8 o’clock which is rare for her.

In other news I have been forced to update my computer as it somehow blew a gasket. Since I don’t have the spare parts to test which component went bad it’s hard for me to know what to replace. I had been buying parts over the last few months as I spotted good deals. But this forced me to purchase the last two parts in one go because without the desktop I can’t play my games or do work. Hopefully I’ll have everything up and running by this weekend.
